TLS, one page, 6.25 x 8.5, personal letterhead, January 22, 1996. Letter to Martha Nieder, in part: "I am deeply grateful for your thoughtful letter requesting an interview in reference to my views as a member of the Warren Commission on the assassination of President Kennedy. Because of the heavy volume of correspondence and so many similar requests, I will not be able to answer your specific questions. I hope you understand. As the sole surviving member of the Commission, I feel obligated to reaffirm: Lee Harvey Oswald was the assassin and the Commission found no evidence of a conspiracy foreign or domestic. If you have time I would recommend the book Case Closed by Gerald Posner, which does an excellent job on the tragedy of President Kennedy's assassination." In very fine condition.
