Description

Three items signed by one or members of the Skylab 4 mission: a dual-sided System Reaction Control Monitor ‘que card’ used in training for the Skylab 4 mission, 8 x 2.5, dated April 10, 1973, with Velcro tabs on the reverse, signed in black ink, “Ed Gibson, Skylab III”; a printed invitation card for the launch of the Skylab 4 mission, 4.5 x 6, signed in black felt by the full crew of Jerry Carr, Ed Gibson, and Bill Pogue, with each signing first name only; and a color glossy 5.5 x 8.5 biography photo of Gibson in his white space suit, signed in black felt tip by Gibson. In overall fine condition.

Accompanied by a signed certificate of authenticity from Gibson for the ‘System Reaction Control Monitor Que Card,’ which reads: “This card was used to monitor the temperatures and pressures in the Reaction Control System (RCS) and monitor system's performance with respect to the planned performance. The RCS ejects high temperature gases in three directions to translate or rotate the spacecraft as desired. These actions can be accomplished manually or through automation. Note: Three identical copies exist of this card and are all dated 4/10/73.”
