Two items: an official color 8 x 10 NASA lithograph of Jack Swigert in his white space suit with a model of the lunar module, signed and inscribed neatly in black felt tip, “To Laura Graham, All best wishes, Jack Swigert”; and an ALS signed “Jack,” one page, 5 x 8, Committee on Science and Astronautics (U.S. House of Representatives) letterhead, in full: “Thanks for your hospitality and all your help in getting me properly attired. Come see me when you’re in D.C.” In overall fine condition. Accompanied by the original NASA mailing envelope, which contained both the photo and the handwritten letter.
Per the consignor: ‘Jack Swigert came to our home to change prior to a speaking engagement perhaps with the Charlotte MOWW [Military Order of the World Wars] of which my father was a part. Swigert signed my brother's model Saturn V, which is now sadly destroyed, and he sent the letter to my father with this inscribed photo to me.’
