Alan Bean's sterling silver charm of Pope Paul VI attested as having been flown into lunar orbit aboard the Command Module Yankee Clipper during the Apollo 12 mission. The charm, .5˝ in diameter, bears a raised profile portrait of Pope Paul VI on the front, and an image of St. Christopher carrying the infant Christ on the reverse. In fine condition. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Amy Bean, the daughter of Alan Bean, who attests to the charm’s flown status as part of the Apollo 12 mission.
