Description

Pioneer of modern dance (1877–1927) killed in a grisly accident when her scarf became entangled in the wheels and axle of the car in which she was riding. ALS in French, one page both sides, 7.25 x 10.25, personal letterhead, no date. Untranslated handwritten letter by Isadora Duncan, apologizing because Paris tired her out; she reschedules dinner plans for the next day at 5. In fine condition.
