Description

Austrian composer (1860–1911) whose epic symphonies redefined the genre and assured him a place among the most important and influential composers of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Scarce unsigned handwritten note in pencil in German by Gustav Mahler the front of one of his personal 4 x 2.25 calling cards, elegantly imprinted with his name: "Gustav Mahler." A collector's notation above dates the piece to 1903. In fine condition.
