ALS signed “R. Crumb,” penned neatly on the reverse of a 5.75 x 4 postcard featuring Basil Wolverton artwork, postmarked in Sacramento on September 10, 1988. Handwritten letter to“T. R. H.,” the art dealer Tom Horvitz, in full: “I forgot your name, but thanks for sending the stats of the ‘Coolidge Tanina’ pages…preciate it. Remember you told me you have the current address of Dick Hetchell?? I’m interested in contacting him…could you dig up his address and send it to me? Hope your business is doing well.” In fine condition, with a small corner crease. Accompanied by a printed 1990 Christmas card from the Crumb family.
