Faraday,” one page, 4.5 x 7.25, January 4, 1837. Handwritten letter from Michael Faraday, in part: “I beg to thank you for the note book you were so good as to send me. I sent today by our messenger two tickets for yourself & Mr. De la Rue for the Season which I trust you have received. I presume Mr. Branch is making use of your kindness.” In fine condition, with some faint toning and light soiling.
