Vintage glossy 9.75 x 8 press photo of Chiang Kai-shek seated and smiling, boldly signed in ink in Chinese. Reverse bears a Camera Press copyright stamp and affixed caption: "Chiang Kai-shek's Formosa Army Prepares for D-Day: Generalissimo Chiang Kai-shek, president of Nationalist China. Behind him, on the wall of his mountain home at Tsao Shan, just out of Taipei, are two poems which he wrote in the days of his imprisonment. Camera Press (by Horace Bristol)." In very good to fine condition, with scattered creasing, minor corner loss, and a short tear to the bottom edge.
