Johnson for the African-American market, featuring contributions from figures in a variety of fields including the arts, politics, and entertainment. Contributors include: Langston Hughes, W. E. B. Du Bois, Eleanor Roosevelt, Carl Sandburg, Pearl Buck, Dorothy Parker, Dalton Trumbo, Humphrey Bogart, Orson Welles, Arna Bontemps, Clare Booth Luce, Alfred E. Smith, Dale Carnegie, and many others. Issues date from February 1944 to January 1946. In overall very good to fine condition.
