Addressed from the “Office of Finance,” a letter sent by Robert Morris to “The Governor of New Jersey,” William Livingston, in full: “I do myself the Honor to transmit the Copies of two Acts of Congress of the sixteenth and eighteenth Instant. I hope these Acts will meet that early Attention which is due to their Importance.” Signed prominently at the conclusion by Morris. In fine condition, with faint toning, and old tape repairs, to the folds. Accompanied by an engraved portrait bearing a facsimile signature.
