Description

Vintage glossy 10 x 8 Paramount Pictures publicity photo for the 1934 comedy It's a Gift, showing W. C. Fields walking with a child during the film's 'Back Porch' sequence, signed in fountain pen, "This is a publicity still, the name of the picture has been changed to It's a Gift, Uncle Bill." In very good to fine condition, with scattered light creasing. The film reprises routines honed by Fields from his career between 1915 and 1925, including skits such as ‘The Picnic,’ ‘A Joy Ride,’ and most famously, ‘The Back Porch.’
