Description

King of Great Britain and Ireland (1765–1837) from 1830 to 1837, he earned the sobriquet 'Sailor King' for his youthful service in the Royal Navy. Handwritten inscription and ink signature, "William R,” on an off-white 5.25 x 4.25 slip, handsomely matted and framed with a color portrait to an overall size of 14 x 23. In very good to fine condition, with light show-through from mounting remnants on the back.
