Limited edition suite of four color 14 x 16 serigraphs of Goofy by pop artist Peter Max, entitled ‘The Goofy Suite,’ each numbered 219/500 and signed in the lower left in felt tip, “Max.” While each serigraph bears a nearly identical line drawing of the Disney icon in a friendly up-close pose, the pieces proffer four unique and vibrant color combinations. The lower left corner of each serigraph bears “Peter Max 1994” and SOMA blindstamps. In overall very fine condition. Max, along with Disney chairman Michael Eisner, opened the first Disney Art Gallery, where Max premiered his limited editions of fabulous Disney icons such as Donald Duck, Goofy, and Snow White.
