Description

Signer of the Declaration of Independence from Connecticut (1731–1811). Revolutionary War-dated ADS signed “Wm. Williams,” one page, 7.25 x 5.5, June 4, 1783. Handwritten affirmation of service and discharge for a Connecticut soldier: “This certifies that Humphrey Ball, was a Soldier from the Town of Lebanon inlisted for Term of the has been duly discharged.” Signed at the conclusion by William Williams on behalf of the selectmen of Lebanon. In fine condition.
