Manuscript DS in Italian, signed “Umberto,” nine pages on sets of adjoining sheets, 9.5 x 14.5, June 1, 1893. Official document, in part (translated): "The below-listed first-category servicemen (sergeants), who meet the conditions indicated in Article 1, letter d) of the aforementioned law of June 29, 1882, are appointed as second lieutenants in the reserve of the permanent army, infantry branch, with seniority from July 1, 1893." The document proceeds to offer a lengthy list of servicemen eligible for promotion. In fine condition.
