President Grant directs the Secretary of State to affix the Seal of the United States to “my Proclamation of the Convention between the United States and Salvador signed on the 12th of May 1873.” Signed at the conclusion by U. S. Grant. In fine condition. On May 20, 1870, the United States and the Republic of Salvador signed an extradition convention that would ensure each other’s cooperation regarding the safe and expedient surrender of criminals. This offered document pertains to a time extension for the exchange of ratification between the two countries.
