Six identical later (modern) prints produced from the original copper-plate impression of an engraving after a sketch believed to have been done by Civil War artist W. T. Crane, featuring an image area of 17.5 x 10.75 on an off-white 18.75 x 14.75 sheet. This illustration was originally published in The Soldier in Our Civil War, published by J. H. Brown in 1885, under the title: 'Grand Review of the Armies of the United States at Washington, D.C., May 23rd, 1865—Troops marching up Pennsylvania Avenue before passing the reviewing stand." In overall fine to very fine condition.
