Complete issue of the Richmond Whig and Public Advertiser from June 6, 1862, four pages, 17.75 x 23.75, featuring stories on Stonewall Jackson's great victory in his Shenandoah Valley campaign, Benjamin Butler's infamous 'General Order No. 28' defaming Southern women, and P. G. T. Beauregard's evacuation of Corinth. It also publishes lists of wounded soldiers recuperating in Richmond's hospitals. In very good condition, with chipping and fraying to edges.
