Addressed from “Camp Advance” near Poolesville, a pass for an officer: “Lieut Wm. A Todd of Co. C. 1st Calfa Regt is hereby permitted to visit Washington on important business.” Signed at the conclusion by both Cochrane and Wistar, who both became brigadier generals. In very good to fine condition, with scattered light staining and soiling.
