Vintage matte-finish 7 x 8 photo removed from a Royal Christmas card from 1955, featuring a charming photo of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip posing outdoors with their two young children, signed below the image in fountain pen, "Philip" and "Lilibet, 1955,” with another hand adding the names of the children in pencil. In fine condition, with a small stain touching Elizabeth's signature. A desirable example given the queen’s uncommon signature. Queen Elizabeth II only ever signed with her nickname, "Lilibet," for very close friends and family. She was given the nickname as a young child, and it is essentially only her immediate family members who are permitted to use it.
