Vintage matte-finish 8 x 7.75 photo removed from a Royal Christmas card from 1959, featuring an appealing image of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip walking with their children along the property of Balmoral Castle, signed below the image in fountain pen, "Philip" and "Lilibet, 1959." In fine condition. A desirable example given the queen’s uncommon signature. Queen Elizabeth II only ever signed with her nickname, "Lilibet," for very close friends and family. She was given the nickname as a young child, and it is essentially only her immediate family members who are permitted to use it.
