Gartengasse 14-16, Type: R2, Fabr. Nr. 22002." The portable radio has a built-in speaker, volume knob, and tuning dial. This type of radio receiver was used onboard German U-Boats during World War II to bring morale-boosting music and political propaganda to the sailors and submariners of the Kriegsmarine.
