Two items: a glossy 8 x 10 photo of Blake at the keyboard, signed and inscribed in black felt tip, "To Arlington Roland…Eubie Blake, Dec. 10th 1973"; and an ALS, one page, 8.5 x 11, Eubie Blake Music letterhead, October 7, 1976, to composer Gunther Schuller. In part: "I rec'd the music but I've been on the road doing concerts…Please don't think I don't appreciate what you've done for me. I will send it to the Big bands that I know, both white & Negroes…Like Geo. M. Cohen used to say My mother thanks you. My father thanks you. My sister thanks you. And I thank you." In overall fine condition.
