This German-language program lists rules and limitations, athlete names and rosters, and timetables for events, like the decathlon, 4 x 100-meter relay (heats), water polo, 100-meter freestyle (heats), and award ceremonies for cycling, shooting, and canoeing. Several pages are annotated in pencil by a spectator. Included with the program is an original 4.5 x 2.75 ticket stub for the ‘Athletics’ events at the Summer Olympics held in Berlin, Germany, on August 8, 1936, a date highlighted by the USA medal sweep in the decathlon. In overall very good to fine condition, with scuffs and marks to program cover.
