Vintage glossy 8 x 10 photo of the United Artists Studios music department head, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, "For Verna Arvey, Sincerely, Alfred Newman, Hollywood—Oct. 1st.” In very good condition, with scattered stains and creases, surface impression to his forehead from a typed notation on the back, and a fleck of emulsion loss affecting the poorly contrasted signature.
