LS in French, signed “Philip,” one page, 13 x 13.5, September 1566. Untranslated letter on the administration of the low countries, prominently signed at the conclusion in ink by King Philip II. Retains the white paper seal affixed on the reverse. In very good to fine condition, with paper loss from ink erosion affecting the text, but not the signature.
