I find two payments, but neither exactly corresponding with the amount alleged…I write to ask you if you have any Mem. or receipt which will show the fact. He waits in town…to receive your answer.” Double-matted and framed with a portrait and plaque to an overall size of 23.5 x 20.25. In fine condition, with a small area of paper loss to the right edge.
