Letter to his publicist, Ms. Ronnie Lippin of The Lippin Group, in full: “I've just finished watching the edited and mixed tape of the tribute show that was done in March. At the time, I said it was the greatest night of my life, and now, two months later, looking back at it, I still feel the same. I also have to tell you that your participation was one of the main reasons it was such an incredible celebration. The last couple of years have been pretty amazing, and I know that you've worked really hard to let people know about me and my music. And what happened at Radio City was just the best. I'm very proud of what a great job you did on the tribute event. And you should be proud of yourself too. So, from the bottom of my heart, on behalf of myself and my wife Melinda, thank you for being part of a night I'll always treasure. And don't forget, if there's anything I can ever do for you, please don't ever hesitate to ask.” Wilson adds a postscript: “P.S.-This is a little souvenir book Melinda and I put together for people like you who made that night at Radio City possible. I hope it brings back ‘Good Vibrations.’” Included is the very rare, privately printed, and never commercially available “souvenir book,” entitled ‘From Brian and Melinda with Love,” which presents as a program that Wilson had commissioned following his honorary tribute concert, An All-Star Tribute to Brian Wilson, which was held at New York City's Radio City Music Hall on March 29, 2001, and aired on TNT on July 4, 2001.
