Johnson, Esq’re, Attica, Oneida County, New York," and franked by the elderly statesman, "J. Adams." The panel is affixed to an off-white 7.5 x 4.5 album page and is in fine condition, with scattered small stains. Encapsulated in a PSA/DNA authentication holder. The recipient is ostensibly Alexander Bryan Johnson (1786–1867) a British-born American philosopher and semanticist who married Abigail Louisa Smith Adams, daughter of Charles Adams and Sally Smith, and granddaughter of John Adams and Abigail Adams.
