Prince’s faux diamond bracelet that he wore on stage during a concert at Paisley Park during the seven-day ‘Celebration 2000’ festivities held from June 7 to 13, 2000. The bracelet, 7˝ in length and 1˝ in width, features several rows of faux black gems and faux diamonds, with the bracelet ends bearing either a clasp or lock (nonfunctioning). In fine condition, with light wear from use.
Accompanied by a letter of provenance from its previous owner, which reads: “This bracelet was worn by Prince on stage at a concert at Paisley Park that he played during the 1st Celebration that took place from June 7th until June 13th 2000. I obtained this bracelet from a former Prince / Paisley Park employee, who explained to me: ‘This is a bracelet that broke while [Prince] was onstage at Paisley Park during the first Celebration back in 2000. He threw it to me mid-song and I put it in his little side stage makeup/costume change tent. It was still there after the show when I went to straighten up the tent. His assistant said to throw it away but I kept it instead.’”
