Description

Signer of the Declaration of Independence from Virginia (1726-1791). Harrison was the father of President William Henry Harrison and great-grandfather of President Benjamin Harrison. LS signed "Benj. Harrison," one page, 6.25 x 7.25, October 10, 1784. Letter from Fredericksburg, introducing a "worthy friend." In part: "In case he should want money, his Bill on my House at Richmond will be good for whatever sum he requires." In fine condition, with faintly mottled toning.
