Impressive collection of four autograph books and one photo album from the Tokyo 1964 Summer Olympics, containing a nearly complete assemblage of signatures from the gold medal-winning swimmers and divers of Team USA, which amassed 16 first-place finishes in those respective events. The four autograph books, each 3.5 x 5, contain approximately 125 athlete signatures, a total that includes numerous competitors (mostly swimmers and divers) from other countries like Germany, Brazil, Canada, Australia, and the Soviet Union. The books contain the American team signatures of Don Schollander, Ginny Duenkel, Donna de Verona, Cathy Ferguson, Jed Graef, Sharon Strouder, Tamara Hazleton, Claudia Kolb, Pokey Watson, Judy Reeder, Lesley Bush, Patience Sherman, Jeanne Hallock, Ericka Bricker, Cynthia Goyette, and Ed Townsend. The photo album, 8.5 x 11.75, contains roughly 40 original vintage glossy photos of the American women’s swimming team, ranging in size from 3 x 4.5 to 4.75 x 6.75, five of which are signed.
