Buzz Aldrin's personally-owned ‘Moon Rock Collection’ necktie made by Stonehenge in honor of the 25th Apollo Anniversary. The tie, entitled ‘Molecular Expressions,’ features a design reproduced from a microscopic view of lunar breccia formed as the result of a meteorite impact. In brand new, unworn condition, retaining its original tag.
Accompanied by a printed image of Aldrin wearing one of his ‘Moon Rock Collection’ ties and a copy of a certificate of authenticity from Aldrin’s daughter, Lisa Cannon, which indicates that this tie was one of five auctioned by Heritage Auctions.
