Partly-printed DS, signed “Cha. Crocker,” three pages on two adjoining sheets, 8.25 x 13.5, August 13, 1884. Deed between the Central Pacific Railroad Co. and Albert Gallatin, selling tracts of land situated in Tehama County, California, for the sum of $3585.76. Signed at the conclusion by Crocker as second vice president of the Central Pacific Railroad, and countersigned by a secretary and two trustees. Handsomely cloth-matted and framed with a portrait and plaque to an overall size of 36 x 24, with a window in the backing for viewing the reverse. In fine condition.
