Signer of the Declaration of Independence from Georgia (1749–1804). Impressive manuscript DS, signed “Geo. Walton,” one page, 21 x 15, August 28, 1792. As judge of the superior court of Georgia, Walton approves the transfer of a "Tract of Land containing seven hundred and fifty Acres, situate, lying, and being in the County of Edgefield in the State of South Carolina." Impressively cloth-matted and framed with a portrait to an overall size of 39 x 25. In fine condition.
