Impressively cloth-matted and framed with an image of the Titanic and a plaque to an overall size of 21.5 x 31.25, with a window in the backing for viewing the reverse. In fine condition. A descendant of gunpowder-manufacturing millionaire E. I. DuPont, Irénée (1876–1963) entered the family business in 1902 and served as president of the DuPont company from 1919–1925, overseeing the diversification of the firm's interests.
