"My father went down with the boat"—a family of Titanic survivors, with rare signature of Eva Georgette Dean

Rare ALS from Bertram Vere Dean signed “B. V. Dean,” which is also signed at the top by his mother and sister, Eva Georgette Dean [Burden] and Elizabeth ‘Millvina’ Gladys Dean, all of whom survived the sinking of the Titanic. The handwritten letter, one page, 5.25 x 7, no date [circa 1972], reads: “I am sorry I have not answered your letter before but I wanted until I had visited my mother and sister. My mother who will be 94 in May and my sister who was only seven weeks old at that time, I was two years old. My father went down with the boat.” Mounted and framed with pictures of the Titanic and the three Dean signers to an overall size of 16.5 x 20.5. In fine condition.
