Set of four Beta cloth swatches bearing the Apollo 13 mission insignia, each approximately 8 x 8 and signed in black ink or felt tip, “Fred Haise, Apollo 13 – Lunar Module Pilot, April 14, 1970.” At the top of each swatch, Haise adds quotes between mission control and the Apollo 13 crew following the oxygen tank explosion. One example reads: “CMP – Okay Houston…we’ve had a problem here! CAPCOM – This is Houston…Say again please. CDR: Ah, Houston we’ve had a problem. We’ve had a Main Bus B Undervolt! CAPCOM – Okay, Standby 13…we’re looking at it.” In overall very fine condition, with light ink haloing to two of the patches.
