A large screen-worn winged insect ring from Desilu Productions, used in episodes of Star Trek and Mission: Impossible. It was first worn by Barbara Babcock, with a different colored stone, in the Star Trek episode 'Plato's Stepchildren' (S. 3, Ep. 10), then weeks later it was worn by Steve Ihnat as Fleet Captain Garth of Izar in 'Whom Gods Destroy' (S. 3, Ep. 14). It is easily seen in many scenes, including with Kirk and Spock. It was also seen to great advantage in the three-part Mission: Impossible episode 'The Falcon,' worn by Lee Meriwether as Tracey. Accompanied by a color 5 x 7 metallic print of Fleet Captain Garth pointing his phaser, with the ring prominently displayed.
