(Walt Disney Studios, 1937) Original watercolor concept painting of Snow White and all seven dwarfs—Doc, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, Bashful, Sneezy, and Dopey—by Frank Follmer, accomplished in watercolor on an 18 x 12 sheet. The artwork shows Snow White and her friends inside their woodland cottage, with forest creatures sharing the room, during the film’s pie-baking scene; Follmer humorously depicts the noses of each dwarf on the table, with all manner of critters eager for a taste. Signed in the lower right corner in pencil, "Frank Follmer." In fine condition, with a vertical crease to the right edge, which bears some wear. Follmer worked at Walt Disney Studios from the late 1930s through the early 1940s, assisting on projects like Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Pinocchio, and Fantasia.
