Letter of condolence to the mother and father of a fallen Vietnam soldier, in full: “I was deeply grieved to learn of the death of your son, Specialist Four Norman L. Keller. I realize how difficult it is to face the loss of a loved one, and that no words of mine can begin to make up for it. I earnestly hope you will find some measure of comfort and strength in knowing your son's sacrifice will live in the memory of our great Nation. You may take pride in knowing he gave his life in the pursuit of peace throughout the world. May God, in His infinite wisdom, bring comfort to you in this time of sorrow. Mrs. Johnson joins me in sending our heartfelt sympathy.” In very fine condition. Accompanied by the original White House mailing envelope, a few other condolence letters from friends, and a large group of original photographs, many of which appear to show locales in Southeast Asia.
