Description

King of Great Britain and Ireland (1765–1837) from 1830 to 1837, he earned the sobriquet 'Sailor King' for his youthful service in the Royal Navy. Partly-printed vellum DS, signed “William R,” one page, 13.5 x 9, February 15, 1832. King William IV appoints William Terry "to be Cornet to that Troop...in our Thirteenth Regiment of Light Dragoons." Prominently signed at the head by King William IV. The seals affixed to the left side remain intact. In very good to fine condition, with overall wrinkling and foxing.
