Magnificent 14K yellow gold and lapis lazuli bracelet from the family collection of Edwin Booth, the foremost American Shakespearean actor of the 19th century and brother of Lincoln assassin John Wilkes Booth. Measuring 6.5˝ long, the bracelet features seven inset faceted lapis lazuli stones in an intense dark blue hue, with an estimated weight of 64.82 carat. Each polished lapis lazuli stone contains trace amounts of pyrite, which adds a quality of shimmering depth to the stunning bracelet. In fine condition.
Originates directly from the collection of the great-great granddaughter of Edwin Booth, who inherited it from her mother Lois Grossmann White.
