Son (1702–1775) of William Penn and hereditary proprietor of the Province of Pennsylvania. Manuscript DS signed twice, “Tho. Penn,” one page, both sides, 6 x 2.5, February and March 1732, both sides containing notes of received payments from James Heel, with one amounting to £209.1.10 and the other to £454.6.6. Both signed at the conclusion by Thomas Penn. The top edge of the reverse is affixed to a backing card. In very good condition, with fold splits, and a tear through the stain, slightly impinging on the signature.
