Vintage matte-finish 11 x 14 photo of Skelton in character as Freddie the Freeloader, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, "Dear friend Cecil — you made me what I am to day. You know I'm satisfied. Always, Red Skelton.” In very good to fine condition, with light silvering to the darker areas of the image, and rippling to the top edge. The recipient is ostensibly Cecil Barker (1916-1966), a producer and director known for The Red Skelton Hour (1951), Huyendo del halcón (1973) and Shower of Stars (1954).
