American actor (1904-1980) best known for the role of Doc in the durable TV western Gunsmoke. Vintage glossy 8 x 10 photo of Stone in character, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, "To Judy—My sincere best wishes—'Doc,' Gunsmoke 1957, Milburn Stone.” In very good to fine condition, with a crease and two postal impressions to the upper left background area, and a small area of emulsion loss to Stone's hat.
