Flown American flag, 5.75 x 4, which was carried aboard a Lockheed SR-71 Habu strategic reconnaissance aircraft (S/N 972) during a ‘25th Anniversary Flight’ (1964-1989). The flag is affixed to a blue 10.75 x 13.74 presentation sheet from the Lockheed Aeronautical Systems Company, which reads: “This is to certify that this flag was flown in S/N 972 on 20 December 1989, above 80,000 feet and Mach 3+ (2,000 MPH+).” The lower portion bears two printed signatures and the upper portion features an affixed ‘SR-71 Habu’ patch. Framed and in fine condition.
