Includes a letter to Richard Nixon from an Atlantic Richfield data processing manager, dated October 1, 1969, in part: "Recently two new Arco credit cards were mailed for your use. In error two different credit card numbers were embossed on the plastic cards. One set with number R253 and one set with number R83-20-992-530." Please destroy the cards numbered R83-20-992-530 or return to us for destruction." Accompanied by the letter's original mailing envelope, addressed to "The President, Mr. Richard Nixon, 523 W. 6th Street, Los Angeles, California," with a business reply mail envelope, as well as a second envelope containing literature related to the ARCO credit card.
