French philosopher, author, and journalist (1913-1960) who won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1957; his best-known works include The Stranger and The Plague. Uncommon ALS in French, one page, 5.5 x 8.25, NRF (Nouvelle Revue Française) letterhead, October 25, 1957. Short untranslated handwritten letter to fellow French writer Armand Lanoux. In fine condition.
